Electrical AIT Technician (m/f/d) – Small Satellite Systems

Your Tasks

Overview

We are looking for an electrical engineer (m/f/d) to join our team. You will be responsible for performing various electrical, functional, and environmental tests on satellite systems. This includes handling various assembled subsystems and parts of subsystems, connecting them to the test equipment, performing the tests, and being responsible for the test documentation. Setting up and managing the necessary test equipment and resources will also fall within your area of responsibility.

Tasks
  • Soldering of harnesses and on PCBs for testing purposes
  • Performing functional testing on devices
  • Coordinating test and validation tasks as well as writing test reports
  • Testing of functional performance of systems, subsystems, and parts under specified environmental conditions
  • Operation of electrical and automated test equipment
  • Comparing results with specifications, recording test data, plotting test results on graph

Your Qualifications

  • Technical/professional diploma (post-secondary education) in Mechatronics, electrotechnics or similar, or 2+ years of experience in related field.
  • Experience with design, schematic and technical features of electronic products
  • Electrical assembly experience and programming is a plus
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Methodical and structured work
  • Fluency in English and enthusiasm for new technologies and working in a dynamic team environment. Written and spoken German is a plus
